Who are we?

ACLAIIR is the Advisory Council on Latin American and Iberian Information Resources. The group has an interest in Latin American and Iberian studies in institutions and libraries of all kinds. The aims of the group are to provide information about our subject area and to collaborate with other groups to advance research in our field. ACLAIIR is a great way to become connected to other people in the Latin American and Iberian field. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Latin American and Iberian studies. Currently the group includes librarians, researchers, students and others with an interest in any aspect of Latin American and Iberian studies. For more information about joining us, please see our main website.

This blog aims to provide a space for researchers, librarians, and others to write about their experiences in the field of Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American studies. Part of ACLAIIR’s work is to act as a forum for discussion between librarians and users of Latin American and Iberian materials. We look forward to welcoming your insights on all aspects of Peninsular and Latin American research.
